Tamsui, Taiwan

November 2015

Tamsui is a city Northwest of Taipei. I visited this city twice. The first time was extremely foggy and gave the mountains a mysterious look. The second time had nice cloudy skies. There are street foods and games to be found. Beautiful city to walk around, day or night.

Make your own cotton candy with this machine. Just insert coins, the sugar packet comes out, you pour the sugar into the middle, then cotton candy starts appearing, and you use the paper stick to collect the cotton candy.

Saga seeds. My mother and I used to find these seeds by saga trees in Singapore. We would collect them as they fell and scattered all over the ground the trees. There were many mosquitoes in Singapore, and we’d get bit as we collected these beautiful seeds. They symbolized love.
