Vatican City

Took two day visits here. The Vatican City is a country within Rome that needs no passport to come in and out. It has its own barriers and vicinity, and is worth a visit. The Sistine Chapel and seeing the Creation of Adam painted by Michelangelo is quite a sight. The guards there will try to prevent you from taking pictures of the paintings on the ceiling though.
