August 2011
From Munich, it took me about 4+ hours to get to Vienna by train. It’s a simple city, where Hitler lived prior to his move to Germany after being rejected by the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. I spent 2 days there and thought it sufficient. The people of Vienna were fond of cheese, and even had it inside their sausages. The drinking age for Austria was 16 for beer, so my jaw dropped when I ran into a 16 year old at a bar trying to hit on me. There were also scores of music from Mozart and Beethoven for sale that was really neat. Europe was ahead of the U.S. in banning plastic bags, so tote bags came in handy. I purchased a beautiful black sheet music print tote bag here.

I’m not kidding about the cheese here

Cheese in the sausage

Only because it sounds like my name. I suppose one gets used to all the architecture in Europe after awhile.
